What is Polyurea?
Polyurea is a durable substitute for plastisol dips. Almost no coating can compare to polyurea when it comes to attainable physical properties. Polyurea can be formulated to achieve a tremendous range of properties, from high elongation to superior tensile strength, all based on how the material is formulated and applied.

Polyurea can be as thin as a heating pad to as strong as a fire retardant covering. Polyurea has also been used as a structured coating on underground pipes. In 2005, polyurea was used to encase old nuclear waste from Rocky Flats Plant, a nuclear weapons production facility in the western United States, near Denver, Colorado.
