Dividers for Steel Racks: We can custom design and build many configurations of dividers to fit any type of steel rack, frame, and cage. Utilizing solid sheet HDPE material or our plastic corrugated material - added value with foam can also lend more protection to these dividers if needed.
Dividers for Containers: We can make dividers from plastic corrugated that is laminated with a rolled over top edge for part protection and associate safety. XLPE foam pad can be added for additional part protection, solid sheet HDPE and plastic corrugated can also be used in these applications as well.

Amatech offers two options of an extruded three-layer polypropylene composite consisting of a central structure sheet sandwiched between two smooth outer sheets. This is very similar to the compearl material you may have seen. This material has exceptional rigidity in all directions. Non-directional material works great for sleeve pack and heavy-duty divider and layer pads. We can integrate our laminates to this material to enhance part protection.
Dividers with Laminate Options: There are many types of laminates in the returnable packaging market. If you are packaging parts with Class-A surfaces, or parts can’t have any scratching or marring, you will need some kind of laminate on your dividers. Some of the most used laminates are Spun Bond, Tyvek, and Evolon. Some of the new laminates that hit the market recently are Suede Microfiber, and Brushed Nylon.
These new laminates give an even higher level of protection for the parts being shipped, however, there is one big problem that arises – the top edge of the dividers. You can have the best laminate inside the dividers but the potential of scratching the parts during the load/unloading process is high. When plastic is cut to make the divider panels, it can leave a very sharp edge. Not only can this damage the parts but can also scratch the hand of the packaging associate – it can be a real “cuticle killer” when you reach into the cell to grab the part.
